Clip from the concert
A wealth of timbres, various shades of colour, sophisticated orchestration deploying the full range of sound possibilities: this is the music of Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy. Its spellbinding inventiveness suggests the infinite variety of scenery, landscapes, and images that populated each composer’s creative mind. The OSM and Kent Nagano present a concert under the sign of dreams and imagination.
