Appointments to the board of the Festival’s Foundation
The Board of Directors of the Fondation du Festival de Lanaudière is pleased to announce that Ms. Marie-Philippe Bouchard, President and CEO of TV5 Québec Canada, and Ms. Caroline Thuot, President of Techno Diesel, have been elected as Directors.
Marie-Philippe Bouchard has been President and CEO of TV5 Québec Canada since February 8, 2016. She is responsible for all aspects of the management of TV5 and Unis TV and the subsidiary Epilogue Technical Services Inc. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre de recherche en droit public of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal and member of the Board of Directors at the SDC Vieux-Montréal.
From 1987 to 2016, she held various management and senior management positions at Radio-Canada in legal services, strategic planning and regulatory affairs, information, digital services and music. A member of the Quebec Bar since 1985, she holds a Master’s degree in public law from the Université de Montréal.
Caroline Thuot holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Concordia University. Growing up, she participated actively in her family’s business, Techno Diesel, officially joining in 2001.
Caroline held several positions in this company under the direction of her mother Jacinte, until she took over as General Manager in December 2012. Since then, she has headed this highly successful enterprise, the largest truck and trailer maintenance and repair centre in Montreal’s North Shore area, supported by her leadership team and over 100 employees. Caroline was named President of Techno Diesel in June 2016, a position that had been under the responsibility of her father, Marcel, since the company’s founding in 1977. Involved in several community organizations and in the world of entrepreneurship, notably with the Groupement des Chefs d’entreprise du Québec and the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce, she is passionate about the development of every individual’s potential. Having completed an acquisition project in line with the vision of her family’s company, Caroline went on from her position as General Manager in January 2021 to fully devote herself to the role of President and to its Canada-wide expansion
