LUC-RATELLE
FUND

The Luc-Ratelle Fund supports the professional development of emerging artists at the Lanaudière Festival. Initiated thanks to an exceptional donation of $125,000, it makes it possible to invest in the training and field experience of emerging cultural workers.

A VISION FOR THE
CULTURAL SUCCESSION

The Luc-Ratelle Fund, placed in perpetuity at the Fondation du Festival de Lanaudière, actively contributes to the development of the next generation of cultural talent. It was made possible thanks to an exceptional gift of $125,000 from Mr. Luc Ratelle, whose commitment to his community and the arts is part of a long tradition.

This fund aims to provide students, interns and seasonal Festival employees with concrete opportunities for professional development. Through initiatives such as a cultural leadership accelerator program, participants can acquire key skills, benefit from mentoring and evolve in contact with a recognized artistic and organizational team.

Each year, the income generated by the fund is invested in projects that support this mission. Enhanced by the matching of governments, the Luc-Ratelle Fund continues to grow thanks to the generosity of those who wish to support the next generation. By contributing, you are directly participating in training and supporting the next generation of cultural workers, and in ensuring the vitality of the artistic community for years to come.

IN MEMORY OF LUC RATELLE
A COMMITMENT
THAT LASTS

A leading figure in the business community in the Lanaudière region, Luc Ratelle has left a significant mark through his ongoing commitment to his community. Co-founder of the firm Ratelle, Ratelle et Associés, and then of a real estate management company that is now well established, he contributed to the economic development of the region for more than five decades.

Deeply attached to culture, he had been aware of the importance of the arts in collective life from a young age. With his spouse, Marie-Éveline Préville, he actively supported several cultural institutions in the region, including the Lanaudière Festival. His philanthropic involvement has also extended to the community field, especially in the health sector.

Convinced of the importance of mentoring and sharing experiences, he wanted, through this fund, to offer cultural talent the tools and support that he himself would have liked to receive at the beginning. Today, the Luc-Ratelle Fund is continuing this commitment by concretely supporting future generations.
